Thank you for your interest in volunteering with Abilene ISD! Our volunteers help keep our students safe, attend field trips, and gather resources to improve our schools and learning experiences. In order to take part in AISD student events and activities, a volunteer application must be submitted annually.
The Abilene ISD volunteer application opens for new and returning volunteers on Aug. 1. We encourage parents to submit their annual application as early as possible.
Prospective volunteers use a unique Frontline account to submit an application. Please note: This is a different type of Frontline account than parent accounts used to access grades. If an active email address is listed on the volunteer application, you will receive an email at that address notifying you of application approval. Campuses also receive application approval information and can share that with volunteers.
Please submit your application no later than seven days before a volunteer activity to ensure adequate processing time.
By completing this application, you acknowledge and agree that Abilene ISD will run a name-based background check as a condition of approving you to volunteer. If you are unwilling for Abilene ISD to perform a background check, do not proceed with this application.
